This Story Behind Christ Theological Seminary Ormond Beach Will Haunt You Forever!. The Cordell College of Theological Seminary is located in Portland, Oregon. Established in 1969, the seminary is the first denominational Christian school on the west coast. Established as a traditional graduate school, the seminary offers students the opportunity to pursue a two-year Bachelor of Divinity degree as well as an Associate of Arts Degree. In addition, students can also pursue a Master of Divinity and a Doctorate degree, which qualify them for the ministry. A wide range of student interests can be pursued at the seminary, including ancient and contemporary spirituality, gender issues, history, theology, and sexuality. Offering a variety of religious education programs, students can earn an undergraduate certificate in divinity as well as a master's degree and doctorate in religious studies.

Along with religious education, the school also offers a large concentration on practical studies. Some courses are housed within the Department of Theological Studies while others are housed within other departments such as accounting, business management, communication, economics, global studies, graphic design, health, history, legal studies, media studies, Photography, sociology, technology, and visual communications. The emphasis in the department of Theological Studies is on biblical scholarship, allowing students to specialize in an area of study within the larger field of religious studies. Other courses offered are courses in canon law, ancient and modern theology, liturgical studies, and sacramental theology.

The College of Christ, along with its sister schools, operates under the denomination known as ecumenical. Many of the faculty members and faculty are laymen who have been ordained to the faculty by the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Among the different denominations, ecumenicalism has brought together Roman Catholics, Orthodox Christians, and Lutherans. One of the schools located on the main campus is Christ Theological Seminary, which was founded in 1965. Here students can pursue a four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Theological Studies and Biblical Studies. As part of the faculty, students will learn about Greek myths and legends, early Christian history, biblical interpretation, apologetics, Pentecostal Christian heritage, and theology and sacramental studies.

Along with Bachelor of Arts degrees in general studies, students can also choose to pursue an Associate of Arts Degree. In this category, students can specialize in a particular area of study. For example, in the Associate of Arts in History program, students will learn about European history and culture. Some of the courses offered at the college include world cultures, gender and power, political theory, and history. Students also can select electives from such areas as art history, American government, literature and culture, and education.

The school also offers several certificate programs through the Department of Education. Certificate in Science Education is one of these certificate programs. These programs train students to work in science classrooms with other certified teachers in the program.

The Associate of Arts in Business Administration program provides students with an overview of business management and its processes. This program includes classes on accounting principles, financial accounting principles, business law, management leadership, and decision making. Other courses may also be available from the school. Some of the programs include accounting, information systems, customer relations, marketing, and statistics.

The Associate of Arts in Fine Arts also covers art conservation and degotiation. It includes courses that cover visual and performing arts, drama, dance, music, visual media, television, film, and video. Several of the programs are self-paced, while others are full-time. The campus also has a minor in Graphic Design.

All students who complete their bachelors and associates degree in Theological Seminary will then enter into The Seminary, which is a year of professional training in the area of pastoral ministry. During this time, they will complete the requirements for entry into the Master's program. Upon completion, students will become fully ordained in the catholic Church. This will be their final graduation degree. The Associate of Arts program allows students to focus on specific areas of study, while The Seminary will allow them to complete all of their coursework and become certified in Theological Education.
