Southern Seminary is one of the few institutions of higher education that offer this type of online course. Tuition and fees are virtually the same whether you're an on-campus student or an online student.

Southern Seminary is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Their baccalaureate and master's degrees programs are both offered online. A portion of each degree is reserved for on-campus enrollment and the remainder is available through hybrid modular programs. The hybrid modular is a combination of classroom and online learning. Because of the intimate nature of the class and the specialized expertise of the faculty members, many Southern Seminary students choose to enroll in a doctorate degree program instead of pursuing a baccalaureate.

Each semester, Southern Seminary offers a set number of four-year degree programs. Students who wish to earn a Master of Divinity, Doctor of theology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Service and Business Administration can enroll without a bachelor's degree. However, all students who complete the undergraduate degree will be required to enroll in graduate programs in order to graduate from Southern Seminary.
